On March 8, 2017, in celebration of International Women’s Day, the partners and mentors of the Elles bougent association are getting together to encourage young women to enter the scientific and technological disciplines.
In France, young women at the junior high and high school levels, along with their parents, are invited to visit industrial and corporate sites. During these visits, they will have the opportunity to talk with Elles bougent mentors, female engineers, and students who will answer their questions concretely, yet casually.
Many projects are being planned around the world, at the initiative of the Elles bougent partners and mentors, e.g. site visits, round tables, school-based interventions, etc.
You can find all of the planned actions below, listed by country.
Are you convinced of the importance, like we are, of the issues concerning gender equality in the workplace, and of the interest in helping young women discover the scientific and technological professions, starting at adolescence?
